When thinking about what the future has in store for me it seems limitless with possibilities. However, one thing I know for certain is I want to complete a dietetic internship, which will allow me to become a registered dietitian. After becoming certified if possible I would like to work in the clinical setting working with patients with special needs or in foodservice systems and eventually possibly nutrition management.
I really enjoy food service nutrition because I love affecting people through food. The goal of nutrition is to make people healthy and happy enjoying food. Having the opportunity to make that kind of impact on an individual is an incredible experience and reinforces why I love nutrition and drives the passion I have for it.
Another area I could see myself in is marketing and nutrition. Currently, I design various posters, menus, and brochures that are all nutrition related for my job and I really like the creative aspect and outlet it provides.
