After graduation in the spring of 2010 I hope to be getting ready to move on in the next stage of my life, by being accepted into a dietetic internship. I feel this is the next big thing I need to do in my life in order to increase my knowledge and practical experience in the field of dietetics. I love learning new information and emerging trends in dietetics and I feel a dietetic internship can provide that and more. I would love an internship that allows one to experience different rotations throughout the program. I believe this would help me narrow my focus when it comes to choosing what I would like to do as a registered dietician. The areas of nutrition that I find most compelling are food service systems, nutrition management, and working with patients with disabilities. I noticed while looking at your dietetic internship program that it offers several different clinical rotations as well as management rotations which is what I am looking for in a dietetic internship program. This and some other factors make your dietetic internship my number one choice. I feel this internship is the best match for my short-term and long-term professional goals.
